The Reform Lumbar is a versatile clinical positioning support developed to provide targeted lumbar support and lateral stability whether sitting or lying. Unlike traditional lumbar cushions designed solely for chairs, the Reform Lumbar is equally effective in bed, making it an ideal solution for rehabilitation, aged care, community care and home environments where therapeutic positioning is essential.
Manufactured from very high-density Charcoal ActiveX™, the Reform Lumbar slowly conforms to the body's natural shape to increase immersion, redistribute pressure and help regulate temperature during extended periods of use. Its thin, moulded profile features a two-way angled lumbar contour and supportive lateral ridges that cradle the lower back while helping maintain alignment in both Supine and Fowler's positions.
Whether used to improve comfort during prolonged bed rest, support post-operative positioning or provide additional lumbar support while seated, the Reform Lumbar offers clinicians and caregivers a highly adaptable solution. Its compact design makes it easy to reposition throughout the day, helping deliver consistent therapeutic support wherever it is needed.

Designed for both sitting and lying, the Reform Lumbar provides targeted lumbar support in chairs, recliners and wheelchairs, while also assisting positioning in bed during Supine and Fowler's positioning.

Very high-density Charcoal ActiveX™ slowly moulds to the user's anatomy, reducing concentrated pressure while providing stable, long-lasting support for higher-risk clients.

The unique two-way contour gently cradles the lumbar spine while integrated side ridges assist lateral positioning, helping maintain alignment during rest or prolonged sitting.
"The thin profile is what impressed me most. It supports the natural curve of the lower back without lifting the patient too high, making it an excellent positioning aid for pressure care and prolonged bed rest."
"My physiotherapist recommended the Reform Lumbar after I had spinal surgery. I use it behind my lower back when I'm sitting, then take it to bed at night. Having one product that works in both situations has made recovery much easier."
“We have found the Reform Lumbar very useful as an in-bed lumbar and positioning support. Highly recommended.”

Supine refers to lying flat on your back, while Fowler's position is when the upper body is elevated. The Reform Lumbar has been shaped to provide effective lumbar support in both positions.
